About Us

Grace Bible Church is a non-denominational, independent, Bible-teaching church located in Midlothian, Virginia. We welcome people from all religious backgrounds who have a desire to learn and obey the Word of God. Grace is a congregation of approximately 500 in attendance on Sunday. We have various Bible classes available for all ages and strive to live out the one-anothers of scripture.

OUR PURPOSE

Grace Bible Church exists for the primary purpose of glorifying God by proclaiming His saving gospel to every person and by teaching and encouraging His people to know and love Him with all their might. Grace Bible seeks to accomplish these goals primarily through expository, verse by verse teaching, intentional fellowship with other believers through fellowship groups, and through bold evangelism within our community.  

Our History

During 1989 a group of 15-20 Christians in the Midlothian area regularly met for prayer regarding the need for a non-denominational, non-charismatic, Bible-teaching Church. They were particularly concerned that, along with evangelism, there would be the regular, systematic exposition of God’s Word that would enable believers to faithfully “grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

Grace Bible Church met for the first time on December 3, 1989 at the Stony Point Learning Center in Bon Air. The Elders of Grace Bible Church sought from the beginning to follow the pattern of the New Testament in matters of church government to see that all things were done “decently and in order.”

We proclaim Jesus, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. (Colossians 1:28)

Our goal is to Educate the Mind, Excite the Heart, and Motivate the Will, by the Word of God, in order to see Christ exalted in every member’s life and relationships.
