Grace Bible Church Ministries
Bible Training Center (BTC) Classes
BTC is an in-depth theological study program which has been adapted from a seminary curriculum. The classes meet weekly throughout the year with current topics covering subjects such as, Biblical Interpretation (hermeneutics), Old Testament and New Testament Survey and Systematic Theology.
The goal of these classes is the personal strengthening and equipping of individual believers in their knowledge of God and his word for the work of ministry in his church (Eph 4:11-13)
Home and Foreign Missions Outreach
Grace Bible Church is dedicated to the fulfillment of the Great Commission's call to make disciples of Jesus Christ by going, evangelizing, baptizing and teaching all men to observe what Christ has commanded (Matt 28:19-20).
To those ends Grace Bible is committed to training and sending missionaries (short and long term) to the mission fields of the world. Regular trips are scheduled to visit, encourage and support our international missionaries (GBC currently supports 10 missionaries) on short term trips. GBC also actively encourages people to follow God's call to the mission fields of the world on a full time basis.
Grace Bible is also committed to reaching the local community of Midlothian with the gospel of Jesus Christ through ministries such as neighborhood outreach, outreach dinners, home Bible studies and small group fellowships.
Fellowship Groups
The New Testament gives 25 commands to Christians which called the "One Anothers." These commands are the practical way to live out the theology of the Bible. These commands must take place in the lives of one another on an ongoing basis.
With those commands in mind, Grace Bible Church offers a number of area Fellowship Groups (small groups) to help facilitate this ministry. Fellowship groups meet bi-monthly throughout the Richmond area and consist of relevant Bible Study, mutual encouragement, corporate use of spiritual gifts, prayer, fellowship, singing and refreshments.
A list of Fellowship Groups is available on the Grace Happenings page.
Summer Backyard Bible Clubs
Backyard Bible Clubs are an outreach program designed to bring the Gospel message to young children in a friendly neighborhood setting. The clubs are led by adults and teens from Grace Bible and occur within host neighborhoods. These are always a blessing to the children and provide a way to reach out to families in the neighborhood with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Titus 2 Women's Ministry
Titus 2 is ministry which seeks to encourage women of all ages to live out the characteristics of a godly woman as recorded in Titus 2:3-5. The ministry meets monthly with primary emphasis on Bible study with a focus on home and family life.
Please contact the church office for more information.
The Virginian Retirement Residence
This is a weekly service on Wednesday evenings at The Virginian Retirement Residence (300 Twinridge Lane, Richmond). This ministry seeks to bring Grace Bible to those who are unable to make it to our regular services during the week.
Homeless Ministry
The Homeless Ministry meets the first Tuesday of every month to provide a hot lunch meal at Second Street Baptist Church in Southside Richmond. Our volunteers shop, cook and serve the meal to approximately 80-120 individuals. Please contact the church office for more information.
